Insulin needles are typically 29 to 31g 1/2 inch needles that diabetics use to inject insulin. Unlike lower gauge (thicker) needles, Insulin needles rarely cause any pain or sting due to how thin they are.

Bodybuilders also use them, mainly to inject HCG, HGH and peptides.

However, these needles can also be used to inject anabolic steroids, whether subcutaneously or intramuscularly.

The main pro of using these needles for injecting AAS (steroids) is that they are almost painless, plus they are a lot less likely to cause scar tissue build up.

Besides that, they are more versatile because they can be used to inject into both muscle and fat tissue, allowing the user to rotate between more injection sites.

The main drawback to using these needles is that they require some patience. They are so thin that it takes a good while for the oil to be drawn into the needle, and then to be injected into the muscle.
